Bly, Marsha M., age 80, of Amherst, NY passed way on April 11, 2026, following a prolonged illness. Born on January 25, 1946, in Elmira, New York to the late Leroy M. Bly and the late L. Mae (Tobias) Bly. Marsha lived a life defined by generosity, devotion, and an unwavering commitment to others. Marsha dedicated forty years of her career to the North Tonawanda School District, where she served as an elementary physical education teacher and touched the lives of countless students. Her kindness and caring nature extended well beyond the gym. She also coached high school track for many years. She was a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a voracious reader and book lover. She is survived by Tami Konieczny, her brother Larry Bly and several nieces and nephews although her family extended far beyond to include the Zernickel and Konieczny families. There will be a Celebration of Life scheduled for Sunday May 31, 2026 at Panes Restaurant, North Tonawanda from 11AM to 2:30PM. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to readtosucceedbuffalo.org. Tami, Through the ups and downs of Marsha's prolonged illness I have taken comfort in the knowledge that you and your family were there to support, advocate for, and love her. I am sure that she found comfort in your presence. I hope that, now, you can provide each other with support and peace.
