Husband of Loraine (Colucci) Hawthorn. Father of Amy Hawthorn and Nicole Hawthorn. Grandfather of Mia Hawthorn. Brother of the late Harriet Hawthorn, late Samuel Hawthorn, late Jane Zawodzinski, late Sue Colligan, Karl Hawthorn, Dennis Hawthorn and William Hawthorn. Walter is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-7 with a Memorial Service at 7 at Kaiser Funeral Home, 1950 Whitehaven Rd., Grand Island.
