Louise Kuhn Zelonis died peacefully after a short illness on December 21, 2023, the Winter Solstice, in Elderwood at Wheatfield at the age of 92. Louise is survived by her daughters Laureen (Doug) Hess of Evergreen Colorado and Lynn (David) Mikulski of Grand Island, 6 grandsons; Cody, Tucker and Benjamin Hess, Quinn, Travis and Jack Mikulski, brother Theodore Kuhn and sister Sheila (Merle) Palmiter, 5 nieces and a nephew. She is predeceased by her loving husband Larry, her son David Zelonis, parents Charlotte and Clinton Kuhn, and sister Judith Lorenzini. Louise was a wonderful mother and wife, had many friends, and was fun to be around. She loved animals and always had a cat in the house. Louise had many interests and hobbies. She was formerly a member of Home Bureau, River Lea Quilters, GI Community Chorus, Golden Agers, and Recovery International. Recovery Int. assisted Louise in self -help and she received much support from members. She enjoyed gardening, bike riding, Scrabble with Larry, antiquing, aerobics with Karen, quilting, boating, reading, playing cards, listening to music, bowling, and traveling to Florida in the winter. I am so very sorry for your loss. Louise was a good friend. We enjoyed many dinners at theVillage Inn, and also going to the exercise classes.
